ABOUT PAM SCHOENFELD, MS RD LDN

Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist

Selecting a caring and knowledgeable nutritionist is just as important as selecting a caring and knowledgeable physician.

And, because food is often the first and best medicine, you want and need the most up-to-date, evidence-based information on nutrition and health. But you also need a plan that works for your busy life.

I get it. I promise to always work hard to meet or exceed your needs and your expectations.

My thousands of satisfied clients have taught me how important it is to listen carefully in order to address the unique health and nutrition requirements of each individual patient.

I will thoroughly review your personal health, diet, and lifestyle history, including labs and tests from other practitioners. Together, we will create a sustainable action plan that will improve your overall health, not just your body weight.

While we'll focus on nutrition, I also will identify and help you correct any poor sleep, stress, or exercise habits that keep you from fully achieving your goals.

When helpful, I will recommend additional labs and/or tests that can provide more information and lead to better care of your overall health and wellness. I will communicate with your doctor(s) to ensure that your care is coordinated for the best outcome.

Keeping abreast of the latest advances in the field of functional nutrition and medicine is my passion. I will leave no stone unturned if you have a complex nutritional or health problem that requires extra attention.

I graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers University) following a rigorous dietetic clinical internship, completed my Masters of Science in Nutrition at the College of Saint Elizabeth, and earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition Research at the University of Maryland.

On a personal note, I am married to Adam, and we have three (now adult) children, and one charming little grandson. I created my dream job of being a dietitian in private practice just so I could help women like you, and their families, find practical solutions to eating more healthfully. With so much confusing and conflicting nutrition information out there, I am so very, very gratified to be helping others find the effective answers they are looking for.
