Selecting a nutritionist is as important as selecting a doctor.
Because food is your best medicine, you want and need the best and most up-to-date and scientific information. You also need to make it work for your lifestyle.
I will always work my best to meet your needs.
My thousands of satisfied clients have taught me how important it is to listen carefully and to address the unique health and nutrition requirements of each individual.
I will review your personal health history, including labs and tests from other practitioners, and give you meaningful insights on changes in lifestyle that can improve your overall health.
I have seen many patients who just needed small changes in their diet, yet needed help to improve sleep, stress, and exercise habits to fully achieve their goals. (for example, sometimes that can mean less exercise instead of more!).
I will recommend additional labs and/or tests that can provide more information and lead to better care of your overall health and wellness. I will communicate with your doctor(s) to ensure that your care is coordinated for the best outcome.
I graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers University) following a rigorous dietetic clinical internship, completed my Masters of Science in Nutrition at the College of Saint Elizabeth, and earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition Research at the University of Maryland.
Keeping abreast of the latest nutritional studies is a passion of mine, even more so when one of my patients has a nutritional or health problem that requires extra attention.
On a personal note, I am married to my husband of 32 years, Adam, am a mother of three (now adult) children, grandmother to one beautiful grandbaby, and I became a dietitian (at the age of 51) specifically to help women and their families find practical solutions to eating more healthfully. I was once confused and frustrated by all the nutrition information out there and am gratified to be helping others find the effective answers they are looking for.
